A registration fee is required at time of registration. This fee is Non-Refundable. There will be no registration fee for any 8 week sessions. Only one registration fee of $25 is due at registration of Fall Semester each year. Families receive $10 off registration fee for each additional child.
Tuition must be paid by the 10th of the month, after that your payment is late and there will be an added $10 late fee to your tuition. If you choose to pay for the full year tuition up front you will receive a 10% discount (this does not include 8 week sessions). Your dancers name must be included in all payments. Checks should be made payable to: Inspire Dance Academy. ($30 fee for all returned checks)
Classes & Cancellations:
Our class schedule can be found on our website and there are copies available at the studio. We will not have classes during major holiday breaks, such as Winter Break & Spring Break. Cancellations regarding inclement weather will be posted on our team BAND app, facebook, and instagram by 2:00pm. No refunds or prorates to tuition for scheduled breaks and holidays. Classes with fewer than 4 students may be combined or cancelled, you will be notified and assisted in finding a replacement class if this were to occur.
Apparel should be appropriate dance wear. No baggy clothing please, the teachers want to see your movements clearly. Appropriate dance shoes must be worn for classes. Ballet class participants must wear leotard and tights with hair in a bun. It is highly recommended that you mark your students belongings with his/her name as Inspire Dance Academy is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please contact the studio if you need help making purchases for new shoes or clothing. No food or gum allowed in the classroom or in costume.
Absences are excused. Your dancer may make up their lesson at any other appropriate scheduled class, make-ups must be arranged in advance. Please call the studio or teacher at least 30 minutes prior if you are going to be absent. No refunds or prorates for absences. Do NOT allow your child to attend class if they are running a fever or have any illness symptoms.
It is the responsibility of the parents or adult students to inform the studio of address or telephone number changes, arrive to class on time (if your student is late for class we just ask that they be respectful upon entering). It is also your responsibility to pick your child up at proper time. We ask that students wait inside for pick up for their own safety. Students are not to be left unattended at the studio for an excessive time before or after class.
Parents, legal guardians of minor students, and adult students waive the right to any legal action against Inspire Dance Academy for any injury sustained on the studios property resulting from dance activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, during, or after class time.
Inspire Dance Academy is hereby granted permission to take photographs of the students to use on web sites, advertisements, and other materials the studio creates. Permission is granted for Inspire to copyright photographs in its name.
Inspire Dance Academy will produce 2 shows per year for family and friends to attend. There will be a winter show in December (informal) and a summer recital in June (formal). You will be required to purchase costumes for the summer recital. There will be a production fee due prior to the summer recital (keep your eye out for this information). This fee will include costumes, production expenses, and a recital t-shirt. Students do not have to participate in either recitals, if your child chooses not to participate you must fill out a non-participation form (for either show) in person. Recital fee is non-refundable.
Withdrawal and Refunds:
One month notice from the first of the month is required to discontinue any classes. Withdrawal must be done in person and in writing. Your account will be charged for the following month if you do not give sufficient notice.
